Colmcille Enterprises: Cló Cholmcille
Colmcille Enterprises/Cló Cholmcille is a constituted non-profit, social enterprise whose primary objective is the creation, development and promotion of the literary and visual arts, and artists, from a community perspective. The organisation takes an active role in the encouragement of literary and artistic talent through traditional and multi-media platforms, including our website and podcasts. We have received support from Foras na Gaeilge, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Derry & Strabane District Council, and our contributing artists have received support from Arts Council Northern Ireland. Originally formed as Colmcille Press in 2019 as a community-publishing house by Garbhán Downey, we have published more than forty quality titles of local and national interest, including local history, memoir, fiction and poetry.

Bunaíodh Colmcille Press ar dtús in 2019, mar theach foilsitheoireachta pobail ag Garbhán Downey, agus tá níos mó ná daichead teideal ardchaighdeáin foilsithe againn a bhfuil spéis áitiúil agus náisiúnta iontu, lena n-áirítear stair áitiúil, cuimhní cinn, ficsean agus filíocht.
